Yoga signifies physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. For some, the path of yoga is as profound as “Union” of body, mind and spirit; being in true harmony with the elements of the Cosmos. For many, it is simply a way to discover peace, serenity, health, balance and renewed enthusiasm towards life. Whatever the reason for practicing yoga, the huge health benefits come as part of a grander intent:- to infuse our highest ideals into everyday living, wherein grace, compassion and kindness become a way of life…

STYLES OF YOGA
Prana Flow® from the Shiva Rea Samudra School of Global Living. Flow (vinyasa) is the linking of one asana to another, embodying movement, breath and life at a cellular level…but more than that, it is one that awakens and sustains consciousness. Sri Krishnamacharya destined it as “any cycle with a beginning, middle or end, the intelligent unfolding of a sequence in practice, life or nature.” Described as an evolutionary flow, it is like a wave which rises, crests and releases on the shore, as each movement is linked in a methodical, yet creative way. Unique to Prana Flow® are the evolutionary Namaskars which weave with the fluctuating times, such as days of the week, seasons and years, calling all of our parts into wholeness as we embody the fullness of consciousness that we are. …find out more
SEVEN SPIRITUAL LAWS OF YOGA:
From the school of Dr Deepak Chopra and based on the “7 Spiritual Laws of Success.” This class incorporates strength, flexibility and balance with breath work. Sun salutations energise the cardiovascular system, while longer held postures allow further release of blockages and musculature. This class is also unique in its inclusion of the Laws of Nature, whereby the law of each day is held in our awareness. Its core principle and energy then resonates within, which in turn brings it into our daily life.
A more gentle form of yoga. A holistic approach to releasing both physical and emotional blockages within the body. Postures are more passive and are designed to adjust the nervous system, enabling the body to move towards greater balance.
SCARAVELLI INSPIRED YOGA:
Inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, this class focuses on gravity; a feeling of grounding into the earth while at the same time cultivating core strength, weightlessness, buoyancy and length in the spine. Infused with somatic and explorative in nature – a gentle yet demanding yoga.
Yoga Nidra is a form of deep, yet conscious relaxation and dynamic sleep, derived from the tantras and rooted deeply in Yogic tradition, philosophy and psychology. It systematically induces complete physical, emotional and mental relaxation by turning the eyes and senses inwards, creating a deep sense of rest at the threshold between sleep and wakefulness. …find out more

YOGA OF SOUND:
Chanting is one of the World’s oldest means of finding the “BLISS” inside of you. Bliss is a chemical state which the body produces and that we are apparently hard-wired to seek. Both Eastern philosophy and science agree on this.
Here you will “find your voice”, have fun and produce neurological changes that are healing and both relaxing and stimulating.
YOGA OF MUDRA:
Mudra means “gesture,” “attitude” or “seal.” Specific hand gestures are common in healing and spiritual art traditions and are used to affect the flow of vital energy within the body, so improving the health of the glands and nerve channels of the body, therefore accessing greater potential for self-healing and realisation. Mudras may be used within asana (postures), meditation and pranayama (breathing).
