Yoga Nidra is a form of deep, yet conscious relaxation and dynamic sleep, derived from the tantras and rooted deeply in Yogic tradition, philosophy and psychology. It systematically induces complete physical, emotional and mental relaxation by turning the eyes and senses inwards, creating a deep sense of rest at the threshold between sleep and wakefulness. Here you will connect with the subconscious realms of your psyche, being comfortably relaxed in a safely held space, as you release any blocks and barriers and step into true authenticity. During your Yoga Nidra session you will travel through the 5 koshic levels of being in 8 stages. This includes witnessing consciousness, conscious communication, kripalu yoga stages, dynamic language and inquiry. We will draw on integrative yoga therapy using concepts such as chakra wheels, energy channels and points, sound healing, colour, symbol, visualisation, archetypes, and guides to aid healing and transformation. I encourage mudra hand gestures, drawing, body mapping, mandala creation and reflective writing as a way to re-connect and re-member your heart’s deepest desire.
